Homeira Aframian is a German born, Iranian-American artist, residing in Los Angeles. Her works have been featured in private exhibitions throughout Southern California, as well as in private collections in both Los Angeles and New York City. Homeira began her artistic studies training in watercolor and Persian miniature in Iran under Master Ali Khoraminejad. Since immigrating to the United States in 1995, she has continued her training in watercolor whilst also expanding her body of work to include contemporary figurative paintings. In her recent works, Homeira studies the human form with a personal intrigue that is genuine and passionate. Her intense contemplation over each piece leaves a tangible spirit, and the resulting tone is serenely enticing. Homeira further tantalizes her audience with a color palette that is both unorthodox and potent. Overall, Homeira’s artistic body of work is blessed with a vibrant (at times rustic) appeal that veers from the expected traditions of the genre in its depth, originality, and unique application.
